Abstract
A review of literature reports and results of our investigations concerning the effect of nitrous acid, present in nitric acid solution, on the effici ency of nitrogen oxides absorption have been presented. It was found that t he reduction of nitrous acid concentration in the solution gave substantial increase of nitrogen oxides absorption efficiency.
