Abstract
Simulations of air flow and deposition of solid particles in the bifurcatio n of human bronchial tree has been provided. The respiratory curves corresp onding to chosen normal and pathological cases of breathing were used. Stru ctures of gas flow, concentration profiles of aerosol particles and "hot sp ots" of deposition are presented as the results of calculations. Strong cir culations of the gas flow were observed at the transition from inspiration to expiration of breathing cycle.
