Abstract
The work deals with mathematical optimisation with the use of stochastic me thod commonly referred to as adaptive random search (ARS). Extensions and m odifications of the algorithm presented first in [1] by Luus and Jaakola ha ve been developed. Results of tests proved that these modifications increas e largely reliability of obtaining global optimum.
