Abstract
The results of the studies of the power consumption for the liquid and gas- liquid system agitated in the geometrically similar slender vessels of 0.03 75 m(3) and 0.4 m(3) volume are presented. The vessels were equipped with d ual impellers (Rushton or CD 6 turbines and A 315 impeller). Comparative an alysis was carried out in order to explain how vessel scale affects the sha pe of the power characteristics. The results of the study were compared ass uming the constant values of the Kg, w(og) or vvm.
