The effect of the eccentricity e/R of the impeller shaft on the mixing time
t(m) of the Newtonian liquid agitated by means of the propeller in the ves
sel of inner diameter D = 0.7 m was studied. The measurements proved that m
ixing times are comparable in the agitated vessels, for which e/R = 0.43 -
0.57, J = 0 and e/R = 0, J = 4.
