Abstract
The Couette-Taylor Flow (CTF) reactor characterized by the high values of t he volumetric mass transfer coefficients (of the order of 10(-1) s(-1)) and a large specific interfacial area has been presented. The mass transfer ex perimental results of benzaldehyde oxidation have been shown. To intensity the mass transfer the eccentric Couette-Taylor Flow reactor has successfull y been tested. The mass transfer coefficients determined for the eccentric CTF reactor were significantly higher than those found in the centric CTF r eactor. The proposals to apply the CTF reactor to oxidise organic liquids a nd contaminants have been discussed.
