J. Dudczak, Synthesis of crystallization processes. Ternary systems with a single congruently soluble double salt, INZ CHEM PR, 22(3), 2001, pp. 397-407
A method is presented for the synthesis of the process in which two solid s
olutes are separated from solution by fractional crystallization. A congrue
ntly soluble double salt is formed in the solid-liquid system analyzed. The
method employs an exhaustive search in the space of possible process struc
tures generated in a systematic way with the help of two branching operator
s proposed in the paper. A computational example illustrates the applicatio
n of the method.
