Nanostructured recycled hardmetals were obtained by high energy milling of
worn inserts and plates, then the nanocomposites were cold/hot isostaticall
y pressed. The high densities (close to 100% of theoretical) for powders tr
eated with Mp technique confirmed that the densification has reached good r
esults. Besides the mechanical properties were comparable to the values mea
sured for the carbide inserts.
