H. Haddadi et al., Identification of a microstructural model for steels subjected to large tensile and/or simple shear deformations, J PHYS IV, 11(PR4), 2001, pp. 329-337
The aim of this paper is to study and to model the anisotropic work-hardeni
ng behaviour of a low-carbon interstitial free steel under strain-path chan
ges. The model used is a mixed hardening model in which the texture anisotr
opy is represented by Hill criterion, whereas both the isotropic and the ki
nematic hardening are associated with the dislocation structures. In the pr
esent investigation, the texture evolution is neglected. Specifically, for
an initially orthotropic material, it is assumed that the texture preserves
its orthotropic symmetry with respect to a frame that rotates during the d
eformation. An experimental study, numerical implementation, identification
of this microstructural model is proposed. The computation shows that the
model provides a satisfactory quantitative description of the influence of
a predeformation on the subsequent work-hardening and this for different me
chanical tests.
