Abstract
This study examined universal-diverse orientation (i.e., awareness and acce ptance of both similarities and differences among people), general counseli ng expectations, and multicultural counseling expectations in a sample of 1 86 culturally diverse college students. We found that college students' uni versal-diverse orientation and general counseling expectations were positiv ely related to their multicultural counseling expectations. Implications of the findings are discussed.
