A. Blakeborough et al., PSEUDOLIPOMA OF INVERTED MECKELS-DIVERTICULUM - CLINICAL, RADIOLOGICAL AND PATHOLOGICAL CORRELATION, European radiology, 7(6), 1997, pp. 900-904
Three cases of isolate inverted Meckel's diverticulum are described. I
n two cases an initial pathological diagnosis of small bowel lipoma wa
s suggested. In a third cases central fat was demonstrated on CT and p
eristalsis of the intraluminal polypoid mas was observed during US exa
mination. In all three cases small bowel enema examination demonstrate
d the lesion. Correlation of the clinical, radiological and pathologic
al features is emphasised, as this will allow the correct diagnosis.
