A report on the Information Society in Spain: 2001-2005 perspective

The ability to exploit the opportunities that the Information Society offer s is going to be a key factor for the inclusion of Spain among the most dev eloped European countries. For doing it successfully, it shalt be necessary to understand the meaning of this challenge for the Spanish society, and t o determine the way to create a new world. As Telefonica is already a very active participant in the process of building the Information Society in Sp ain, and it wants to play the same role in the future, Telefonica presents this report, devoted to analyse the present situation of the development of the Information Society in Spain and, above all, the perspectives of evolu tion in the near future (2001-2005).
