Abstract
In december 2000 the long-desired new ISO 9000 family (ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004) has been published. This new edition is structured in a complete new manner in comparison with the old version. The demands of standard are now clustered in the fields of quality system, organisation, ressources, wo rking processes and improvement processes. Besides this new structure topic of this article are the main differences with regard to the contents.
