Abstract
Since commercially launched the impact modification of PP has grown to one of the major applications for ethylene-1-octene polyolefin elastomers (Enga ge). Available in free flowing pellet from ethylene-1-octene polyolefin elastome rs offer excellent processing and handling properties. It was found that us ing ethylene-1-octene copolymers gives improved performance of elastomer mo dified PP (TPO) in terms of impact resistance at low temperature, elongatio n and tensile strenght.
