Abstract
In this paper we construct a deformation quantization of the algebra of pol ynomials of an arbitrary (regular and nonregular) coadjoint orbit of a comp act semisimple Lie group. The deformed algebra is given as a quotient of th e enveloping algebra by a suitable ideal.
