Utilizing the evaluative and potency scales of the semantic differenti
al, this study examined differences in perceptions of three feeling st
ates, Love, Anger, and Guilt, among university students from the Unite
d States and Thailand. It was found that students from the United Stat
es rated the potency of Love higher and evaluated the concept of Anger
