The ordered porous zirconium oxide with thermal stability up to 600 degrees
C has been synthesized by a surfactant-assisted route and a post-synthetic
treatment with phosphoric acid. XRD, N-2 adsorption, HRTEM and UV-VIS spect
roscopy were adopted for the characterization of the synthesized sample. It
was shown that the parameter control, including the lower molar ratio of s
urfactant to zirconium resource (0.2-0.3), higher hydrothermal temperature
(110 degreesC), and the suitable H3PO4 concentration (0.2-0.3 M), is import
ant for the synthesis of high-quality zirconium oxide material with ordered
pore structure. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
