Abstract
We developed a conventional immunosensor for Treponema pallidum (TP) to com bine quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) with the agglutination reaction of i mmunized latex beads, TP induced an immunoreaction due to treponemal antige n-immobilized latex particles. We succeeded in measuring the concentration of TP in the human serum within 10 min by QCM method. (C) 2001 Elsevier Sci ence B.V. All rights reserved.
