Physical macroscopic properties such as the spontaneous polarization P-S, t
he tilt angle theta, dielectric permittivity epsilon (perpendicular to) as
a function of temperature were measured for system with induced SMCA* compo
sed simultaneously of three ring chiral esters with partially fluorinated t
erminal chain and nonfluorinated. Dielectric and spontaneous polarization m
easurements on heating and cooling runs show a thermal hysteresis for the p
hase transition between SmC* and SMCA* phases.
