Abstract
Using a set-up for simultaneous many-angle detection of backscattered parti cles, the proton elastic scattering cross-section on B-10 and B-11 has been measured for beam energies from 0.5 to 3.3 MeV and in the angular range fr om 100 degrees to 170 degrees in steps of 5 degrees. The overall accuracy i n the measured cross-section is estimated to be better than +/-5% at all th e beam energies and angles. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reser ved.
