Abstract
We consider some properties of the asymptotic behaviour of the time ev olution for the densities of ions and neutral particles in a simple mo del of binary interactions. We give a generalized definition of wave o perators and prove their existence under suitable conditions related t o the initial distributions of the two kinds of particles. (C) 1997 Ac ademic Press.
