Abstract
A developed, binary, image-processing technique is proposed, and a dua l-channel, optical, real-time morphological processor is developed. Ni ne binary image processings can be realized fully in parallel. The mea sures for compensating scale and rotation distortion for pattern recog nition are provided. Some applications of optical, morphological binar y image processing are studied and experimental results are listed. (C ) 1997 Optical Society of America.
