Abstract
For the first time in practice a philosophy and a computerized tool ha ve been developed for the compilation of multilingual professional dic tionaries. The database ''Trilingual Dictionary of Modem Materials Sci ence'' has been compiled and activated. The hardcopy version of the se t of dictionaries (English-Russian-Ukrainian, Russian-Ukrainian-Englis h, and Ukrainian-Russian-English) has been published by the Lybid Publ ishing House.
