The natural history, prognostic significance, and optimal therapy of asympt
omatic thoracic aorta mural thrombi detected incidentally is not well defin
ed in the literature. We report a case of asymptomatic thoracic aorta mural
thrombi in a 42-year-old woman with a history of smoking and steroid use t
hat was conservatively managed with anticoagulation and had a favorable out
