Abstract
We use an array of gate electrodes to control the electrostatic profile in a layer of self-assembled InAs quantum dots. In combination with magnetotun neling spectroscopy, this allows us to identify and measure the energy leve ls and wave functions associated with the ground and excited state of an in dividual quantum dot.
