Abstract
A retrospective histopathological study was carried out on tissues of 283 r accoons from 5 different geographical locations for presence of interstitia l nephritis and renal leptospirosis. Results of this study indicate that al though interstitial nephritis was common in raccoons from all locations, th e presence of renal leptospiral spirochetes was not.
