Abstract
The development of narrow bandwidth tunable laser systems in the vacuum ult raviolet region of the electromagnetic spectrum and of new experimental met hods has recently enabled a significant improvement in the resolution that can be achieved by photoelectron spectroscopy. This improvement opens new p erspectives in fundamental studies of the electronic structure and dynamics of neutral and charged molecular systems.
