Creep rests are conducted on frozen silt (loess) under dynamic loading
with the load amplitude of 2.5 MPa and frequency of 5 Hz at -5 degree
s C. The average water content and dry density of the specimen are 25.
5% and 1.55 g/cm(3), respectively. Based on the analysis on the test r
esults, a creep model of frozen soil under dynamic loading is presente
d, and the physical meaning of the parameters in this model and their
variation with confining pressure are discussed.
