Abstract
An overview of macrocyclic systems consisting of various number of isoindol e units and forming different phthalocyaninato complexes with different geo metries and stoichiometries is presented. Sets of structurally distinct met allophthalocyaninato compounds are discussed with a view to allowing the re ader to better understand the current state of the studies in the field.
