Abstract
A special fiber-optic signal delivery system for 351-nm pulse-shape measure ments has been developed in the context of a large laser fusion facility. T o deliver a sufficient signal and preserve an overall bandwidth of > 33 GHz over a distance of similar to 15 in, a seven-fiber bundle of gradient-inde x fiber was developed, fabricated, and tested, and is now applied in routin e operation.
