Abstract
Idiopathic chronic penile protrusion was diagnosed in six dogs during a sev en year period. All cases were treated surgically by using cranial advancem ent of the prepuce. The surgical technique was successful in four dogs, whi le the remaining two developed recurrence. In one of the latter cases, part ial penile amputation was performed to correct the recurrent protrusion. Fi ve dogs were available for follow-up clinical examination and all were foun d to be normal.
