Abstract
We report a case of postherpetic. granulomatous folliculitis in a 52-year-o ld female. The several cutaneous granulomatous eruptions following herpes z oster reported in the literature include annular, sarcoid and tuberculoid g ranuloma, granulomatous vasculitis and granulomatous folliculitis. The mech anism of granuloma formation is probably triggered by a delayed hypersensit ivity response to the virus.
