Abstract
Measurements of the performance of the LHCb VELO beam test telescope are di scussed and compared with a simulation. The pulse shape of a fast VELO read out chip has been determined. An outlook on the 2000 beam test program for resolution and efficiency measurements on LHCb VELO prototypes is given. (C ) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
