Abstract
R&D plans and efforts around the world are summarized. Some results of basi c measurements are given and plans for more reviewed. Suggestions for test facilities and ionization cooling demonstrations are reviewed as are a numb er of hardware development activities aimed at particular needs of a neutri no factory.
