Abstract
Parity violation in low-energy nuclear observables is included in the pionl ess effective field theory. The model-independent relation between the pari ty-violating asymmetry in (n) over right arrowp --> d gamma and the non-nuc leon part of the deuteron anapole moment is discussed. The asymmetry in (n) over right arrowp d gamma computed with KSW power-counting, and recently c riticized by Desplanques, is discussed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
