We compute the gravitational and axial anomaly for D-type (2,0) theories re
alized on N pairs of coincident M5-branes at an R-5/Z(2) orbifold fixed poi
nt, We first summarize the work of Harvey, Minasian, and Moore on A-type (2
,0) theories, and then extend it to include the effects of the orbifold fix
ed point. The net anomaly inflow follows when we further take into account
the consistency of the T-5/Z(2) M-theory orbifold. We deduce that the world
-volume anomaly is given by NJ(8)+N(2N-1)(2N-2)p(2)/24 where J(8) is the an
omaly polynomial of a free tensor multiplet and p(2) is the second Pontryag
in class associated with the normal bundle. This result is in accord with I
ntriligator's conjecture.
