Abstract
The sum rule for charmless inclusive semileptonic B-meson decays allows a t heoretically clean and experimentally efficient determination of \V-ub \. T he leading twist contribution to the sum rule is known in QCD. We compute h igher twist corrections to the sum rule using the heavy-quark effective the ory. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
