Abstract
Microlensing observations may give us the first nano-arcsecond scale inform ation about the structure of quasars. I review what is currently known abou t quasars on these scales, highlighting the principal uncertainties. I cove r both the, continuum emission and the broad line region. I conclude that l ittle is firmly known about the structure of quasars.
