Abstract
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is one of two principal exper imental techniques used in structural biology. It can be used to determine structures at atomic resolution and to investigate the dynamics of macromol ecules and intermolecular interactions. We aim to give an overview of the u se of modem high resolution NMR methodology in microbiology. (C) 2001 Editi ons scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
