Gv. Mel'Nikov et al., Pyrene sensitized phosphorescence enhanced by the heavy atom effect in thewater-heptane-sodium dodecyl sulfate-pentanol microemulsion, RUSS CHEM B, 49(9), 2000, pp. 1518-1521
The influence of the external TI+ "heavy" ion on the singlet and triplet ex
cited states of the pyrene and Trypaflavine molecules solubilized in the wa
ter-heptane-sodium dodecyl sulfate-pentanol microemulsion was studied. The
triplet-triplet (T-T) energy transfer in the system Trypaflavine (donor)-py
rene (acceptor) and the sensitized phosphoresce rice of pyrene were first o
bserved in the microemulsion containing TI+ ions. The quenching rate consta
nts of the excited states of the luminophores by TI+ ions were calculated.
