Abstract
30-Electron triple-decker complexes [(eta -C5H5)Fe(mu-eta:eta -C4Me4P)Fe(et a -C5Me5)]PF6 and [(eta -C4Me4)Co(mu-eta:eta -C4Me4P)Fe(eta -C5Me5)]PF6 wit h a central tetramethylphospholyl ligand were synthesized by stacking react ions of cationic fragments [(eta -C5H5)Fe](+) and [(eta -C4Me4)Co](+) with nonamethylphosphaferrocene (eta -C4Me4P)Fe(eta -C5Me5).
