Abstract
The solubility in the Mn(HCOO)(2)-Ba(HCOO)(2)-H2O system was studied at 25 degreesC in a wide range of component concentrations. The system is of simp le eutonic type. The unit cell parameters of Mn(HCOO)(2) . 2H(2)O and Ba(HC OO)(2), crystallizing in the system, were refined. The solubilities in the Mn(HCOO)(2)-M(HCOO)(2)-H2O systems (M = Ba, Sr, or Ca) at 25 degreesC were compared and the effect of the mutual salting-out was considered.
