Abstract
The structure of the complex [Cu(C7H6N4)(5)(BF4)]BF4, where C7H6N4 is 1-phe nyltetrazole, was studied by X-ray crystallography. The crystals of the com pound are triclinic, space group P (1) over bar, Z = 2, a = 13.050(3) Angst rom, b = 13.933(3) Angstrom, c = 14.528(3) Angstrom, alpha = 62.43(3)degree s, 65.07(3)degrees, gamma = 83.48(3)degrees. The structural features of the complex are discussed.
