Abstract
Alloy 625 was aged at various temperatures in the range 923-1123 K to produ ce different microstructures. Ultrasonic velocity was measured to character ise the microstructures. Tensile properties and hardness were determined us ing ball indentation technique. A direct correlation has been observed betw een ultrasonic velocity and mechanical properties.
