Abstract
Trimethyl(trifluoromethyl)silane reacts in the presence of fluoride ions wi th isocyanates and isothiocyanates under mild conditions to give correspond ing trifluoroacetamides and trifluorothioacetamides in high yields. (C) 200 1 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
