Abstract
Spherical clusters of C-60 aggregates, formed in a toluene/acetonitrile mix
ture, are assembled electrophoretically as nanostructured thin films on con
ducting glass, AFM (see Figure) shows that the C-60 clusters (100-300 nm di
ameter) are packed as 3D arrays, giving the film a highly nanoporous morpho
logy. With rising deposition voltage, the packing density of the fullerene
clusters within the film increases.
