Abstract
A novel, three-dimensional copper diphosphonate Cu-4{CH3C(OH)(PO3)(2)}(2)(C 4H4N2)(H2O)(4)(1) incorporating an organic pyrazine ligand has been hydroth ermally synthesized, which exhibits antiferromagnetic ordering below 4.2 K and metamagnetic behavior.
