Abstract
We report on two patients who developed rapidly progressive demyelinating n europathy within 6 to 10 weeks after the initiation of continuous ambulator y peritoneal dialysis. The neuropathy in one patient resolved after kidney transplantation while that of the other patient improved with immunosuppres sive therapy. The close temporal relationship between the initiation of per itoneal dialysis and the onset of neuropathy suggests that these two events may be causally related.
