Abstract
We describe the appearance of a mandibular ossifying fibroma in spiral comp uted tomography-based multiplanar (MPR) and three-dimensional (3D) reconstr uction using computer graphics. The usefulness of the interactive reconstru cted images, especially using a vascular protocol, for qualitative and quan titative analyses is demonstrated. This technique is an important adjunct t o evaluation with conventional axial CT.
