Abstract
We present H alpha line profiles (R similar or equal to 3 10(3), S/N s imilar or equal to 10(2) at continuum level, similar or equal to 50 fo r some objects) for 58 stars in 8 northern open clusters and associati ons, complemented with H beta and H gamma profiles for 36 of them as w ell as H delta and H epsilon for 16 programme stars. Our observations, though lower in resolution, yield results which are in good agreement with those obtained in earlier works based mainly on field Be stars. Our data suggest a similar spectroscopic behavior for both field and c luster Be stars. The line parameters (EW, FWHM, Delta v(p)) have been obtained for each line. Nearly the whole set of stars have previously published quasi-simultaneous uvby beta photometry, so a study of relia ble correlations between photometric and spectroscopic data can be und ertaken.
